Redi Lab Reports was a new product idea from IntoScience and was created to let teachers build and distribute reporting templates for their laboratory classes.
Students could learn about the scientific method, while teachers would be able to provide guidance and feedback in a quick and easy manner.
Working with a team consisting of developers, educators and researchers, we produced a beta product which was tested in classrooms and quickly iterated.
Creating userflows
Userflows were created for both student and teacher.
User testing in classrooms
We created a prototype which was tested in a multiple classrooms.
Observations were taken, teachers and students interviewed and iterations were made to the product.
Website
A one page site was created to encourage users to sign up and give feedback.
Guides
A visual style was created for user guides and marketing materials.
The final (beta) product
Interested schools were invited to beta test the product.
